Create a custom app in Shopify

Shopify Admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps. If it's your first app, click Allow custom app development (one-time). Then Create an app and give it this name:

App name — any name works; this is our suggestion

Configure the app — paste these three values

Do the final "Connect via OAuth" in a browser already signed in to this store's Shopify admin — otherwise the authorize step returns "Unauthorized Access".

App URL — App setup → "App URL"

Redirect URL — App setup → "Allowed redirection URL(s)"

Admin API access scopes — Configuration → all 20, tick every one below

Install the app, then paste its API credentials

In the app → API credentials → Install app. Then copy its Client ID & Secret back here.

How it works: Enter COGS (cost in USD) per product in the Price tab. The bot finds the matching range and sets sale price automatically. Compare-at is 2× sale price.

COGS Sheet Import

Upload a CSV with product names and COGS. The bot matches by product name, assigns COGS, and calculates prices automatically.

Expected columns: Column 1 = Product Name, Column 2 = COGS (USD), Column 3 = Product Page Link (optional — used as fallback match by URL)
